Bel Aire Efficiency Apartments

architect?
date--1950's (just a guess)

Although this building is in the block with the Kenmore Hotel, the Taft Hotel and the Davis Hotel, it appears to be later and the style is not very Art Deco. It is not the typical three-part symmetrical design although it does have an extended eyebrow to shade the sun and vertical fluting. The style is sometimes described as MiMo (or Miami modern).
