Petrol Station, Vitra Campus

Jean Prouvé (1901--1984) was a French metal worker who was involved in industrial and furniture design and architecture, known for his ability to use manufacturing techniques in architecture. This station was portable so it could be easily transported and rebuilt on the Vitra campus.
 
The station is comprised of aluminum components and perforated metal sheeting. Color differentiates the functions of the structure.
