These three houses, actually artists' studios/residences, are sheathed in different materials: the front in green asphalt shingles, the middle in plywood, the rear in blue stucco. The eccentric size and placement of windows and the exterior "stairway" forms on the front apartment are typical of Gehry's architecture.
