George Divers House (Farmington Country Club)

The octagonal wing of this residence was designed by Thomas Jefferson for his friend George Divers. It features a portico with bull's-eye windows and was completed in 1802. "The original section, a typical late Georgian side-passage dwelling, probably was erected ca. 1785 after Divers purchased the property" (Loth 13).
