All of which is rather like being asked to erect a circus Big Top in the kitchen while builders are busy working on the rest of your house. The theatrical rippling roof, made of mosaic (in Gaudi's city of course), is only really visible from above. More than 300,000 ceramic tiles decorated this wave-like surface.
