The entrance vestibule with built-in furniture

<

Right: stained glass panel (with mother of pearl) between vestibule and stairway hall, drawn by Shekhtel, made by Vinogradov Brothers

Reception room with shallow barrel-vaulted ceiling and dramatic central window

Note the variety of window styles in this house as well as the variously shaped panes. The cornice here is intricately shaped metal, perhaps stylized butterfly wings--the kind of complex curvilinear form favored by art nouveau artists.

Ceiling and doorway arch and transom

Different woods are used throughout the house. Here the highly polished wood is decorated with delicate floral designs.

The dining room with stucco moulding on the ceiling

Snails are clearly visible but it is not clear what the overall forms is. L. I. Younakovskaya says "The cloud edges are like a scattering of white flowers, or perhaps, this is a duckweed covered pond, where the bank is overgrown with forget-me-nots and clovers."

Beautifully carved door frames

The central photo shows clearly part of the body of a snail in stucco.
