In this brick courtyard Franklin's house and printshop once stood. Although they were razed in the early nineteenth century, the house is known to have been 3 stories high, about 33 feet square with 10 rooms. These ghost structures, built for the 1976 bicentennial, indicate the space the house and printshop once occupied. |
