Office Building de Nederlanden Van 1845

W. M. Dudok
1942-52
now a cafe

This Dutch modernist architect's career spanned several decades, beginning in the late 1920's and continuing into the 1960's. As Hilversum's Municipal Architect (appointed in 1928), he designed housing, parks, schools and most famously, its Town Hall. This is one of the few surviving buildings by him in Rotterdam, now known as the Dudok Cafe.
