Note: These photos were taken about seven years ago. There may have been some changes since then.

Note as well that all of these photos were taken during the day. These buildings have to be seen as night. Holl is a master of light and these buildings become ghostly and beautifully transparent at night. See the architect's website. The separate boxes march up the terraced hill on one side of the museum. They appear pretty minimalist during the day but the cladding is transparent at night.
