Meyer May House--page 2 (of three pages)

Frank Lloyd Wright
1909

North Side

Is this the "front" of the house? Although the driveway runs along the north side, this coud also be considered a pedestrian pathway with the focal point the enclosed entrance surmounted by the vertical slotted windows. (These are the windows in the stairwell landing in the interior.) But the entrance is relatively hidden and placed unexpectedly--which is characteristic of many of Wright's houses.
