earliest building in mid-sixteenth century but larger building and new facade date in 18th century






Please note: these photographs were taken at two different times, once in 2010 and later in 2013; thus the celebratory decorations differ. Note as well that on page 2 I have included a photograph from Wikipedia Commons.
One of three fabulous churches near San Andrés Cholula, (the others are San Francisco Acatepec and San Bernardino Tlaxcalancingo), this church differs in that the interior exhibits a fantastic display of folk art carving and painted stucco.
