Monument à la bête debout [Monument with Standing Beast], James R. Thompson Center

This 29-foot tall, 10-ton white fiberglass sculpture is formed of four interrelated amorphic elements. Door-like concavities invite viewers to enter so that the beast suggests architecture as well as sculpture.
