The radical interior with the industrial material, iron, exposed and used decoratively

Here two barrel vaults run the length of the building supported by slender iron columns. (See the elevation.) The iron is molded into circular tendrils and plant forms. Iron was also practical since it freed up the space and was fire-resistant.
