Park Central Hotel

Henry Hohauser
1937

Next to the Imperial Hotel (actually consolidating it as part of this larger hotel), this taller hotel (tall by Miami Art Deco standards) has elaborate decorative motifs: porthole windows above the entrance, echoed by circular motifs at the top, vertical fluting, abstract designs in the spandrels of the central bay, and a sleek stainless steel sign.
