The late Modern library on the urban Auraria campus was designed by German-born Chicago architect Helmut Jahn--one of his early commissions. Horizontality is emphasized--by the flat roof, ribbon windows and continuous louvers (or sun screens). It is clad in glass and white anodized aluminum panels. The main entrance |
