The winning entry of a competition, this building (BAC) is devoted to architecture, with an open ground floor (with an exhibition hall) and more closed studios above. The simple concrete frame is opened up at the ground level.

The front and side

 
The stark concrete rear elevation is enlivened by a trompe l'oeil sectional view of an imaginary Renaissance building.

The rear facade with an illusionistic painting by Richard Haas executed in 1977
