African American architect and entrepreneur Robert P Madison founded an architecture firm which served as the associate architecture firm on many significant buildings in Cleveland as well as the primary firm on others. Here, as in the impressive jail, the firm provided the main design. | ||
The front facadeThe front facade has a loggia across most of the front (from the parking lot to the entranc) with strong square brick-faced piers. The arch of the vaulting mirrors the arc of the main roof. The far end of the front facade has the circular room. |
