Front facade

Little Rock is both the county seat and the state capitol. This courthouse predates his larger and more famous Romanesque Revival Old Red Courthouse in Dallas. The courthouse has been recently renovated, with the clock tower restored. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. (See H. H. Richardson for other buildings in Romanesque Revival style.)

Contrasting textures and colors--a hallmark of the Romanesque Revival style
