Northwestern Mutual Life Building

Marshall and Fox
1914

This insurance company, founded in 1857, was housed in a number of office spaces in Milwaukee including the Iron Block, a now demolished site, and the 611 building before moving to this eight-story neoclassical building. The front is copper sheeting and glass with elegant Corinthian columns extending through five stories.
