This 20-story Art Deco skyscraper has a stepped-back, ziggurat-shaped form. It is decorated with brick patterns, terracotta designs, and organic foliage patterns. The flame at the top predicts the weather with signals in red, gold, or blue neon tubes.(See also Wyatt C. Hedrick, John Eberson, Marye, Alger, and Vinour, and Pringle and Smith in the artists' index for examples of other Art Deco buildings.) | ||
