Farmers and Merchants Union Bank

		This midwestern bank building, like the People's Savings and Loan Association Bank in Sidney Ohio, was one of the few commissions Sullivan had in his difficult later years. This small two-story bank of reddish brown brick has Sullivan's characteristic terra cotta ornamental trim. (See also the Wainwright Building.)
The entrance facade The front has a dark green marble lintel engraved with the name of the bank and the architect. Heraldic lions and organic ornament decorate the entrance facade. A design incorporating an eagle and the word "forward" is at the center of the cornice.
The side The side has five arched windows with stained glass and decorative trim.
		Decorative terra cotta trim
The rear The rear of the bank has been added on to since Sullivan designed the bank. The upper story in the rear has an arched stained glass window.
