	Entrance to the vast oceanographic park with Candela's trademark hyperbolic paraboloid roof The park--the most easterly area of the complex-- consists of lakes, lagoons, and an underwater city with re-creations of marine ecosystems throughout the world. According to Millás, a total of 45,000 different specimens live within these 42 million litres of water in this world's largest aquarium. The fabulous (and fabulously expensive) underwater restaurant we ate in We were surrounded by the glass walls of the aquarium. We watched the fish as we ate their buddies.
The sphere contains the Wetlands exhibit with tropical and sub-tropical environments of the mangrove swamps and the Mediterranean marsh.
