Arches walled in for the central cathedral

A cathedral was constructed in the center of the mosque in 1523, although in later periods architects and sculptors continued to design additions (like the 18th century choir stalls).

Two mahogany pulpits with evangelists' symbols

According to this site they are by Verdiquier [no first name given], probably made in the 17th or 18th century. This one has the ox of St. Luke and the eagle (in black marble) of St. John.
