National City Center

Skidmore Owings and Merrill
1980

The tower, with 35 stories, is the 7th tallest structure in Cleveland. Clad in off-white travertine, this skyscraper can be defined as International style, with its repeated identical bays and plain geometries. It does, however, have a bit of variety in the base with larger windows and the sense of a top, which finishes off the building. The plaza, larger than many in the area, is graced by Rickey's kinetic Triple-L Excentric Gyratory Gyratory III.
