The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority operates about 30 miles of lines in the Cleveland area. A new station was added as a result of additional traffic for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and the Great Lakes Science Center. This station, by Robert P. Madison International (founded by the prominent African American architect), was designed to harmonize with the style of the nearby Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for which the Madison firm was also associate architect. The station has two triangular towers, with clear glass and white painted steel. The enclosed passageway provides access to the tower at East 9th street. | ||
