The entrance

Hadid's vision was non-elitist. Here at the entrance she uses a kind of set-back store front entrance, wrapped in glass.

The lobby is open to the public. Hadid conceived of it as a kind of public square--thus the importance of the urban carpet, a way visually of leading the eye from the outside in.
