This building is sometimes called Neo-Renaissance (with parallels with the Hotel de Ville in Paris) but the Rijksmuseum seems more Gothic than Renaissance despite the French Renaissance roofs. Cuypers was an important influence on H.P. Berlage and Michiel de Klerk. | ||
