This large installation, designed especially for the Kröller-Müller Sculpture Garden, is constructed of concrete, polyester resin, and polyurethane. This landscape, or artificial garden within a garden, has hills, trees and vegetation. The white garden has bold black painted lines outlining the forms. See also his Monument à la bête debout [Monument with Standing Beast] in Chicago for a similar technigue in painted sculpture.
High walls enclose the enormous sculpture. One can enter in a narrow passage and walk up narrow stairs to enter in the man-made environment. (See the doorway in the above row.)
