The lower facadeMorgan's remodeling included both interior and exterior work. She added a large marble lobby as well as decoration to the exterior facade and an impressive entrance. | ||
A detail of the entranceMorgan's Beaux-Arts training served her well for this elaborate entrance with its enormous cartouche (with an "H"), the fanciful "Baroque" broken pediment encrusted with glazed terra cotta ornament, and the inventive capitals on the fluted pilasters. |
