Professor William E. Colby House

	This three-story house on a sloping site is larger than many of the Bay Area houses Morgan designed in her early career, although it has many stylistic affinities with them. See the Introduction for information on Morgan's early domestic architecture. It was designed for William E. Colby, an attorney who praciced mining law in San Francisco and an active member (serving as secretary for forty years) of the Sierra Club (Cerny 166).
