The small stadium built for the Olympics

This small stadium, seating 5000 spectators was constructed for the 1960 Summer Olympic Games. It is 194 feet in diameter and 69 feet high.
 

Innovative dome design

The innovative dome is made of ribbed reinforced concrete. Continuous windows circle around the arena under the dome.
