| This palace, owned by Don Francesco Landolina e Rau, resembles the Nicolaci Palace in several ways: its construction was additive, its interior is U-shaped with a courtyard, it is flush with the street without set-backs, and it too has a ceremonial portal. It is smaller--a mere 20 rooms! Although it lacks the carved balconies of the Nicolaci Palace, it has a kind of stately elegance with repeated bays divided by fluted pilasters, and a beautifully decorated entablature. | ||
