North Side: Harmony

Some scholars say the biblical blacksmith Tubalcain is striking notes from his anvil while others say it represents Ptolemy, the father of Astrology. This relief as well as the rest on this page are attributed Luca della Robbia.
 

North Side: Left and center: Grammar with Priscian or Donatus teaching two boys; right: Logic and Dialectic represented by Plato and Aristotle

 

North Side: Music or Poetry represented by Orpheus taming the animals while playing the lute and singing
