Pyramids at College Park (formerly College Life Insurance Company of America Building)

Distant view of mirrored sides

Unlike their more famous forebears--the Egyptian pyramids, this "architecture as sculpture" houses offices. While walls of concrete form two sides, the two other walls are of mirrored glass. The tops are truncated.

The pyramids are connected both underground and by above-ground bridges. Since these photographs were taken in February, I have no idea if the lake in front of the pyramids still exists. The area was re-landscaped in the early 1990s.
