This large building is part of the so-called Band des Bundes (Ribbon of Government Buildings), a series of government buildings north of the Reichstag and tucked into a loop of the river Spree. Paul-Löbe-Haus or the Parliament is aligned with this building to the east. Each end of the Chancellery building has a "court of honor"--one toward the Parliament Building and one toward the river. Five storey office builds are on each side of the central section. | ||
