The Large Washerwoman, 1916-7Like the work below, this was created in collaboration with the Spanish sculptor, Richard Guino. By this time in Renoir's life rheumatism had crippled his hands. Scholars (and legal authorities) believe the designs and vision are Renoir's but the actual modelling is by Guino. |

The Judgment of Paris, 1914This plaster relief depicts a subject Renoir also portrayed in paint. Like his late paintings, this work shows Renoir's interest in subjects with several nude figures. The sculpture is very similar to the painting, both in the compostion and arrangement of figures. |
