The spectacular roofThe roof has not only terraces with expansive views, but also animation "in the most fantastic fashion by pinnacles, dormer windows, chimney stacks--a forest of small pavilions in which the exuberance of the ornamental motifs is further stressed by polychromy of the inlaid stones" (Zerner 64).
