Ackerman Student Union, UCLA

Rebecca L. Binder
1996

Binder was commissioned to redesign the 1960's existing five-story student union (in the rear) and to design an addition--40,000 square feet in a new two-story base. Made of cast-in-place concrete with horizontal bands in sandstone, the addition focusses interest on the entrance pavilion.
