Another entrance In addition to the public entrance on Grand Avenue there is a second entrance located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Cesar Chavez Street. Behind the gated entrance a processional way--large stair way-- leads to the center of the campus where the library and theater are situated. The library, an asymmetrical cone with a truncated top, is at the center of the school courtyard--visible on the left photo. It is symbolically important that the library is at the center as a way of emphasizing the importance of accumulated knowledge.

Performing Arts Theater Within the central area the theater consists of two indoor performance halls (fixed state and black box), and even an outdoor amphitheater. Like the library, also a sculptural form, the Tower is clad in bead blasted stainless steel, a reflective surface which emphasizes the sculptural quality.
		Tower symbol--a visible and sculptural landmark A spiral ramp shaped like the number 9 is located on top of the theater's fly-loft. .
