High Museum of Art at Georgia-Pacific Center

	View of the exterior along Houston Street This downtown branch of the High Museum of Art is located in a narrow building as part of the Georgia-Pacific Center. Although one can exit at the Houston Street side, the entrance is through the lobby of the Georgia-Pacific skyscraper. A ramp descends to the musuem space, used for displaying art from the permanent collection as well as traveling exhibits.
Views of the descending ramp According to Isabelle Gournay, the interior is "clad with an exotic wood veneer of African anigree, remarkable for its fine grain and golden tone" (38).
