Ananda

Venerable Ananda became the regular attendant of the Buddha and remained with him for twenty-five years.

An emaciated Sakyamuni represented as a monk thinned by fast and hardships, recalls an episode of his ascetic life on Mount Tuyet Son (Himalaya). This statue of Sakyamuni is commonly called "Statue Tuyet Son".
